Number Eighteen: Art Work Life Balance Making a Mothers Day Card

Making cards is often a fun and relaxing way of being creative, whilst also saving money (depending on the cost of the materials you use!) Spend some time thinking about who the card is for and as this Sunday is Mothering Sunday, it seems a good time to make a card for mum, and to think about mothers throughout the world.

To make a mothers day card all you really need is some card, and a little imagination, think about what your mum likes, and who she is, you could draw a picture or find one and cut it out of a magazine or from the internet. Traditionally flowers are always a good option, they are also quite easy to draw, but maybe you could be more specific, what are her favourite flowers? or what else does your mum enjoy? – Sunday Roasts? Baking Cakes? Cliff Richard? David Bowie? David Cassidy in the 70s? perhaps you could combine these.
