Art Work Life Balance Number Forty-one: Protest

On the May day bank holiday, it has become tradition to protest, but you don’t have to wait for one day in the year to express your feelings about any injustice you see in the world, take a large piece of cardboard, some plain material, paper or anything you have lying around and perhaps attach a stick or pole to turn it into a placard, write whatever you want to on it, and then go outside onto your street and protest. It’s more effective to do these things as part of a group, this way you meet people who share your concern and can discuss these issues with.

It is important if you want to lead a healthy Art Work Life Balance to be able to express yourself and attempt to affect change and voice your dissatisfaction, even if you see no immediate impact from your protest it will have an effect by taking the time to consider an injustice that you think is unfair and needs to change and creating a platform for yours and other voices too. The more people that are freely expressing themselves on a particular subject, the harder it is to ignore. You can do your Art Work Life Balance protest at any time of year, you could organise one, join one, or always carry around the materials to make a placard, so you are ready to protest anytime anywhere.
